Just to clarify, the Bravo Kernels are for GSM ONLY

they were developed for and tested by Mr. X.

The 1.28GHz was not real, for more information, click here.

Changelog:

Overclocking capped at 1.19GHz

Removed a config option that used more battery while the screen was one, oooops, left that in from testing.

Hopefully fixed that FC for some Sprint users, the hosts file I included blocked a few sprint IPs.

A few other tweaks here and there.

Ziggy471 HTC EVO Kernel 23 Oct

Posted October 23, 2010 By Ziggy471

NOTICE: I am not responsible for anything that may or may not happen to your phone, except for maybe it running faster. You break it, you fix it.

23 Oct 2010:
Kernel version 2.6.32.24
Overclocked

1.28GHz, I don’t recommend this setting, it doesn’t appear to work on the newer Desire ports. I recommend 1.113 or 1.15.

BFS 357 CPU Scheduler
BFQ IO Scheduler
Swap enalbed
SLUB (Unqueued Allocator)
All CPU governors, Interactive is the default
CPU Undervolt control via /proc/undervolt – built in, not a module

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=775997&highlight=voltage+module

Fix for slow SD card access

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=815557

CIFS
EXT4
TUN
A few tweaks here and there.
etc…

Also included in the update:
1. For any ROM that has busybox’s run-parts enabled, I added a screen state frequency/governor switching script, located in /system/etc/init.d. This means you do not have to use setcpu to control the frequency or governor anymore. If you prefer not using this script, delete it

The defaults for the script:

AWAKE_GOVERNOR=”interactive”
AWAKE_GOVERNOR_FREQENCY_MAX=”1113600″
AWAKE_GOVERNOR_FREQENCY_MIN=”245000″
SLEEP_GOVERNOR=”powersave”
SLEEP_GOVERNOR_FREQENCY_MAX=”460800″
SLEEP_GOVERNOR_FREQENCY_MIN=”245000″

2. remount script that will be installed to /system/bin.

Valid input format:
remount [ro|rw|status]
ro = read only (default)
rw = read write (to make modifications)
status = current mount mode

3. hosts file that blocks most ads, if you find more, let me know

[KERNEL] Ziggy471 Droid Incredible BFS-OC-UC-Inter

Posted August 27, 2010 By Ziggy471

Ziggy471’s Kernel for Droid Incredible (BFS-OC-UC-Inter)

After trying a few of the kernels out there, I figured I’d dust off my kernel building skills.  Being that most of my computer experience is in ‘Nix and I’ve been running Linux since the pre 1.0 kernel days, and have compiled and tweak more kernels then I really care to remember, I figured WTH.  So here is my first of hopefully many kernels that I’ll be posting here and on PPCG, I have others testing on different devices right now.

I decided to release my kernels here and on PPCG only, due to the need for Android development over there, please don’t take that the wrong way, I still hang out on XDA too.  lol

– HTC Verizon MR Incredible Kernel 2.6.32.15 base
– Using Koush’s AnyKernel update.zip
– Hybrid Adaptive Voltage Scaling (HAVS)
– Overclocked – Up to 1.152Ghz
– Undervolted
– CPU Scaling Interactive supported (Default)
– CPU Scaling Ondemand supported
– CPU Scaling Userspace supported
– CPU Scaling Performance supported
– CPU Scaling Powersave supported
– CPU Scaling Conservative supported
– EXT4 as a module
– CIFS as a module
– BFS scheduler
– A whole lot more that I can’t remember.

Quadrant Results

Yes, that really does say 1621, lowest I’ve seen is around 1525, and average is 1590.

Now for the important part, [KERNEL] Ziggy471 Droid Incredible BFS-HAVS-OC-UC-Inter (554 downloads)

Ziggy’s Backup App

Posted May 8, 2010 By Ziggy471

Sorry all, due to a very long honey-do list and the nice weather, I haven’t had much time to work on my backup/restore app recently.  I do plan on taking some time off of work here soon to start working on it again.

What I would like from all that read this are recommendations on what I should add in next.

Re-Arrange MightyROM Start Menu

Posted March 22, 2010 By Ziggy471

Update 2: Fixed the bluetooth icon, thanks tjElite.

Update 1: Updated the cab with new icons by gadget1 for FDC TaskMan and Regedit, and fixed the G-Sensor icon reg settings, thanks MordyT and tjElite.  There is also an update cab for those who already have it installed.

Since Mike has opted for the default Start Menu layout, and not the layout I’ve come to love, I’ve come up with a cab to re-arrange the start menu to somewhat close to what it used to be.

As of right now, here is the only limitation:
It cannot be uninstalled.

This also installs all the original MightyROM icons and folders we have all become accustom to.

Drawbacks? Yeah there is one, not all icons are exactly where they used to be, they are in the correct sub-menu, but may not be in the exact same place. This only holds true for a few icons.

One last request, please only refer people to the post on PPCG, this post, or the direct link, as it will be hosted here. Mike and I prefer doing things this way so we can track our downloads easier.

Of course, have to show a screen-shot, dis-regard My Mobiler:

Also as promised, here’s the download link:

Ziggy471’s Backup Test App v0.3.7.1

Posted March 11, 2010 By Ziggy471

Since some people seem to not notice that I’ve yet to implement the Restore feature, I added text to the Restore tab that states that.  I added the Restore tab, because I figured I was done with the backup portion and could start on the Restore, but due to the problems, extra long work hours, and having a wife/life, I never did implement it when planned originally.

Information as to what features will be added when can be seen here:
